Care information

What are the care instructions for the earrings?

Due to the hand-made nature of our products, they are delicate so ensuring that they are kept in a safe place, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight will keep them in great condition.

With the pieces containing glitter and sequin elements, please be careful not to hit them to keep them in their best form.

How do you care for the surgical steel backing, hoops or hooks?

The surgical steel backing, hoops and hooks are made by either silver, gold or rose gold, which are raw materials and should be treated with care to avoid discoloration and damage. Avoid exposure to oils, chemicals and perfume. If they tarnish, wipe them with silver, gold or rose gold cleaners or a jewellery cloth.

What are your refunds, returns or exchange policy?

If there are any issues with your purchase, we are here to help. Please contact us on ohhowkindonline@gmail.com and we will look into it and resolve the problem.

Please note: We do not accept returns, refunds or exchanges unless the item is faulty. We also do not accept returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases. Postage and shipping

When will my order be dispatched?

Our current processing time is 2 - 3 working days upon receipt of payment (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Please ensure your postal address is correct. Once we've lodged your order, we cannot make any adjustments. We do not take any responsibility for any incorrect details. You will be charged postage to resend.

Please note with international orders, they could be subject to import duties and taxes. It is not common but we do not take responsibility if this happens.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after it has been dispatched?

All orders within Australia are sent through Australia Post. For international orders, we use Australia Post Standard Tracked International Post. Transit times will vary depending on your location and international orders can take up to 2-4 weeks.

Once we have dispatched your order, we will send you an email with the tracking number. Please check your junk folder as this can sometimes be filtered there.

Please note: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If a significant delay in shipment is expected for your order, we will contact you via email.

Do you cover 'lost' parcels?

Oh How Kind cannot take responsibility for lost parcels once handed to Australia Post.  

What do I do if my parcel is lost?

If your parcel has been lost during transit, please contact Australia Post on 13POST. Fill the Australia Post missing item form here

You will need to provide them with your tracking number. They will begin an investigation once the item meets these conditions:

Domestic item

  • At least 1 business day late.

International item

  • International Courier or International Express item that is at least 1 business day late
  • International Standard or Registered Post International item that is at least 10 business days late
  • International Economy Air item with Signature on Delivery that was posted at least 30 days ago
  • International Economy Sea or any other International Economy Air item that was posted at least 90 days ago.

What happens if I want to place another order?

If you placed another order before we shipped your previous order, we may be able to combine them to save you the additional shipping cost. Please email us the order numbers you wish to combine immediately and we will happily refund you the extra shipping cost.

As a general rule, if the second order was placed 6 hours after the first order, email us straight away.

If we have shipped your previous order/s or do not receive your email within this time frame, the orders will not be combined and you will pay the additional postage. These will be sent as separate parcels.

What is your privacy policy?

We value your privacy and we only collect information required to process your order such as name, shipping address, billing address, payment information, email address and phone number. We do not pass on these information and only use them to process and fulfill your order.
